Duais airson na làraich-lìn!
Nuair a thòisich a' Chomuinn a-rithist an-ùiridh bha e soilleir dhan a h-uile dùine gum bitheadh làrach-linn gu math cudthromach air ar son. Gu fortanach, thàinig Wojtek Dziejma dhan a' chomunn le mòran sgilean choimpiutaireachd. Fhuair e a-steach dhan làrach-linn a bh' aige a' chomuinn mar-thà, ach thàinig sinn chun an co-dhùnadh gum bitheadh e nas fhearr làrach-linn ùr fhaiginn agus a bhith a' cleachdadh an stùth a bh'aca air am fear eile cuideachd. Tha mòran air an làrach-linn againn a-nis ach cuideachd tha beagan obair again fhathast ri dhèanamh.
Fhuair sinn post-dealain bhon SRC aig tòiseach a' Cheitein mu dheidhinn oidhche duaisean airson Chomuinn agus buidheanan eile san Oilthigh. Am-measg na duaisean bha duaise ann airson an làrach-linn as fhearr agus chuir sinn a-steach iarrtas air a shon. Chaidh Aonghas MacLeòid, Wojtek Dziejma agus Ciorstaidh NicLeòid gu Oidhche nan Duaisean airson a' Chomunn. ‘S e duais an làrach-linn a' chiad duais a chaidh fhoillseachadh agus bha sinn gu math toilichte nuair a chaidh a' Chomuinn ainmeachadh.

A Prize-Winning Website!
It was apparent when the society reformed last year that a website would be pivotal to its functioning. Fortunately, Wojtek Dziejma joined the society and had both the ability and willingness to take on such a major task. The old website was eventually accessed however it was decided that a new website would be the best way forward and that pictures and documents from the old website could be put to some use. The website is still not quite complete but is certainly developed enormously.
An email from the SRC highlighted that they were looking for entrants for their first ever Clubs and Societies Awards night. The category of best website appeared to be one in which the Comunn could give a go, and the entry was made.
On May the 20th, Kirstie MacLeod (President 2009/10), Angus MacLeod (President 2008/09) and Wojtek Dziejma (Website Officer 2009/2010) represented the Comunn at the Awards Ceremony. The award for best website was first up and we were delighted to be given this award.
Many thanks must go the Wojtek for all the work that he has done on the website.
